Ahmad Brooks is an award-winning studio musician who has been playing since 2000. He is self taught on over 10 different instruments, including flute, saxophone, melophone, and others. He graduated from Lincoln University of Missouri with a bachelors in psychology, where he served as the President of Kappa Kappa Psi music fraternity.
Ahmad has been teaching music since 2008. He believes that no matter what age or skill level you are, it’s always the right time to start music lessons. He is passionate about sharing music with everyone and having a more fun, less work approach to learning music.
From 2008 - 2011, he won the best jazz soloist for his part playing saxophone and flute. He has played on numerous recording sessions and has is own discography on all platforms.
When not playing music, Ahmad has pursued a career assisting vulnerable populations and advocating and supporting mental health across the nation.
