Job Description:
We’re looking for a talented and self-motivated Software Engineer to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining internal tools that streamline scheduling, billing, teacher management, and communications. You'll work closely with our leadership to build technology that powers a seamless experience for our students, parents, and teachers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom internal platforms and dashboards for lesson scheduling, communication, and data management
Build automation tools for teacher assignments, invoicing, and student progress tracking
Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, Google Calendar)
Monitor system performance and debug issues across our tech stack
Collaborate with leadership to scope new features and streamline operations
Qualifications:
2+ years experience as a software engineer or full-stack developer
Proficiency in modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) and backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js)
Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Firebase, MongoDB)
Strong API and integration skills (REST, webhooks, etc.)
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Bonus: Experience working with scheduling systems, CRM tools, or edtech platforms
Preferred Qualities:
Passion for music or arts education
Startup or small team experience
Clear written communication and project management skills
