Doorstep Music Lessons Refund Policy

At Doorstep Music Lessons, we are committed to providing a convenient and exceptional music education experience. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to make adjustments to your lesson schedule. To ensure transparency and clarity, we've outlined our refund policy as follows:

1. First-Month Tuition:

   1. Because your teacher has reserved their specific availability for you that could have been filled by another student, first month tuition is non-refundable after registering.

2. Tuition Refunds After the First Lesson:

   1. Regular tuition is non-refundable. This is because your teacher has reserved their days and times throughout the month specifically for you, and those slots could have been filled by another student if they were not reserved for you.

   2. In the event that your teacher is not a good fit, you are welcome to use our Love Your Teacher Guarantee to switch to another available teacher at no additional charge.

3. ​Non-Refundable Registration Fee:

4. 1. The one-time registration fee is non-refundable. This fee supports administrative processes and secures your place in our music school. 

5. Cancellation and Lesson Completion:

   1. Cancellations must be made according to our Terms of Service.

   2. If you decide to cancel your lessons within a month, you may choose to finish your regularly scheduled lessons with your teacher at the time that you cancel plus any make up lessons your teacher owes you consistent with our teacher cancellation policy, or you may choose to mark the lessons as family cancellations consistent with our family cancellation policy.

   3. Your time slot will be made available to new students starting on the 1st day of the following month. Your time slot may be made available to other students sooner if you choose to mark your remaining lessons as family cancellations.

   4. Because of our teacher's busy schedules and the fact that your time slot will be made available to other students, lessons cannot be "banked" for future use on a return date, including make up lessons owed.

6. Transfer of Tuition:

   1. You may transfer tuition to another student within the school as long as they are currently enrolled. Tuition is specifically allocated for enrolled students and their lessons. Tuition payments cannot be transferred to someone not enrolled in Doorstep Music Lessons.

7. Love Your Teacher Guarantee:

   1. Your satisfaction is important to us. If, for any reason, you find that you don't love your assigned teacher, we offer our Love Your Teacher Guarantee. We will pair you with another teacher at no additional charge to ensure you have the best learning experience possible.
