FAQs

Where are you located?

Our teachers come to your house! Because lessons are at home, you don't have to deal with traffic. Unlike a traditional music school where you wait in a lobby during a lesson, having lessons in your home means that you know if your student is having fun and staying focused during lessons.

Can my family take lessons back-to-back?

Yes! In many cases, our teachers are able to schedule lessons back to back so that your family can have lessons on the same day.

Do I get to play recitals?

Yes! We have two recitals per year that all our students can play on at no extra charge! Our Winter and Spring recitals are open to all students, including children and adults! It's a great, fun opportunity to get experience performing music, building confidence in a low-stress, supportive environment. Family and friends are welcome to attend, and we take photos and videos for you to share!

What is the right age to start lessons?

Most young students begin around ages 5-6, but some children may be ready for music lessons at a younger age. Our school is open to children, teens, adults and seniors. You are never too old to start music lessons, and, regardless of your age, we have a great teacher who will work with you to provide a positive and engaging learning experience tailored to your unique needs and goals!

Do I need to have an instrument?

While you do need an instrument to play during lessons, you do need necessarily need to spend a lot on your first instrument. Give us a call, and we will help you find the right instrument based on your goals and budget. Many musical instruments tend to hold their value, so you can always look at upgrading later on down the line.

What if I need to miss a week? Can I reschedule?

Yes! We have four easy ways of rescheduling to make learning convenient and seamless for busy families. We let our teachers manage the schedule directly with you, so it's easy to let your teacher know that you'll be out in advance and ask if they can reschedule.
