When are requests due?

Requests are due at least 7 days in advance of the requested month for guaranteed processing.

Same-Month Family Cancellations
Please work with your teacher to request Courtesy Make Ups Subject to Teacher Availability for Family Cancellations. As the current month is already scheduled, we cannot prorate the current month.

Example: Today is 6/11. You request to prorate 6/25-7/14. We are able to prorate 7/1-7/14; however, your 6/25 lesson has already been scheduled. You can Family Cancel 6/25 and request a Courtesy Make Up Subject to Teacher Availability for the lesson if you choose.

Summer Overview

We've got you covered for summer! Most students will continue lessons as normal (recommended) and may need just a few make ups due to some travel.

Most families continue lessons normally and just request make ups when needed

If this is you, you're all set! Just contact your teacher to schedule make ups as necessary.

Limited travel (0-2 weeks/month)

• No planned travel

  • ​Continue lessons normally (most popular)

    • Advanced make ups available if you take a short vacation.

• Plan to travel 1-2 weeks/mo

  • ​Continue lessons normally (most popular)

  • Teacher can offer advanced make ups starting now (recommended)

    • Making up one lesson a month in April, May, July and August can complete the whole month of June easily.​

 

What do I need to do if this is me? 

Nothing! You're all set. Simply speak to your teacher if you will need make up lessons.

 

Traveling 2+ weeks per month

• Plan to travel more than 2 weeks/mo

  • Prorated Summer Tuition

    • ​Available June 1st - August 31st or

    • Advanced make ups are available

• Plan to travel the whole summer

  • Pre-plan Return and Save 10% on Return Month

    • Applies to August/September return months

    • Save your day and time with your teacher or

    • Get priority scheduling for Back to School

    • Okay to put a tentative return date if unsure

      • Must contact the office 7 days before the bill date if there are ​are any changes

      • Example: Returning August 5th, contact office by July 24th to make changes to your tentative return date

    • Payment will be run June 1 to the card you use on file for Return Month.​

How much should I practice over the summer?

We recommend a relaxed practice schedule over the summer focused on fun repertoire. Remember, it's important not to give up. If you do take a few weeks off, make sure you have a return plan in pace beforehand with your teacher so you can stay successful!

Should I cancel my subscription?

• We strongly recommend pausing, prorating, pre-planning August or using advanced make ups.

• Cancelling your subscription means you will

  • Lose your spot

  • May have to pay a re-enrollment fee

  • Will be competing against everyone else to enroll in the fall, which is the 2nd busiest time of year.
