Ellie Chesnik

Ellie is a caring, energetic, and attentive piano teacher since 2019. She has 13 years of classical music and technique training on the piano. She teaches classical music, foundational techniques, pop songs, and more! She is focused on catering to the specific goals of the student. Her goal for teaching is to build a foundation of music knowledge for her students so they can do what they’d like with music, whether that’s continuing the piano, learning more instruments, playing new songs they love, or creating their own music!

Ellie also has extensive experience in teaching young children, teens, and adults, as well as students with neurodevelopmental conditions (such as autism, fine motor delays), and learning disabilities (such as dyslexia, ADHD). Families that have taken from Ellie are impressed with her ability to navigate learning challenges smoothly.

When Ellie isn’t teaching, she is constantly picking up new music and instruments. You can find her singing in choirs, teaching herself guitar, and practicing hard on her latest choice of piano music. She believes that music is a form of expression and is vital to the human experience, and therefore should be accessible to all students!
