Micah Benjamin Miller

Micah Miller has had a guitar in his hand for as long as he can remember. He is an educator, composer, producer, and a lover of all things music. Micah taught himself to play by watching free tutorials and watching the old REH VHS uploads on Youtube. Since then he has been teaching guitar privately for over 10 years. He has extensive experience playing and performing all styles of music, though his specialty is progressive technical electric guitar and acoustic fingerstyle. In addition to playing music, he has a passion for music composition, recording, production, mixing and mastering, and film and entertainment. Throughout his years of teaching, it dawned on him that there are some very fundamental and important steps in learning guitar you don't find online or even in person with private instructors. These are things he wished someone would have shown him when he first started learning; it would have saved 5-10 years of practice time! It is his desire to impart his knowledge and experience to his students so they can supercharge their progress and learn fast. He believes in cultivating the unique artistry and creativity that exists within all his students. Rather than take a cookie cutter approach, Micah gets to know each individual student's desires and goals and curates the lessons to help them achieve their desired results as quickly as possible while having fun. One of the ways he does this is by implementing a martial arts style progression system in the curriculum. However, instead of earning belts, students progressively earn different color guitar straps, just like Karate! He calls this methodology "The Way of Guitar."

Micah has tested The Way of Guitar program on students who knew nothing about guitar from all ages and backgrounds, even students with Autism and learning disabilities, and it's had remarkable results. People are blown away at how fast they can learn guitar from scratch when they follow a proven step-by-step process. Some of his students have even written and recorded albums (which Micah helped mix in his studio), and gone off to Berklee College of Music to pursue their dreams.
