Ellen Smith is a highly respected Master Voice Coach of 35 years with a global client roster that includes celebrity recording artists, aspiring professionals, and passionate beginners of all ages and musical styles- from every part of the entertainment industry.

With decades of professional experience as a vocalist and entertainer, Ellen brings broad expertise across all areas of her music and teaching profession. Her career began in her teens when she formed her first working band, and continued her career as a lead vocalist and performer, session and jingle singer, songwriter, producer, and stage show manager and voice coach. She achieved international success as a pop/dance solo artist under the stage name Eliana.

With a multifaceted career as a lead vocalist, Ellen performs across a diverse array of genres, including pop, dance, electronica, jazz, blues, rock, and country. Ellen’s résumé also includes work as a sought-after session vocalist, an award-winning jingle writer/singer and establishing herself as an accomplished vocal producer.

Throughout her career she has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Sheryl Crow, Trisha Yearwood, Patty Loveless, Collin Raye, Judy Collins, Hypnogaja, The Lettermen, and many more. Highlights include backing vocals on Eddie Money’s Can’t Hold Back world tour and joining Meredith Brooks on her 1998 European tour. She has also held the distinguished role of featured soloist at hundreds of wedding ceremonies and private events.

Ellen’s original music has been featured on radio and television, and her early work includes contributions to preschool music education and therapeutic music programs—underscoring her deep belief in the power of music to inspire, connect, and heal.
