Ilinca Cristinoiu

Ilinca Cristinoiu is a cellist based in Las Vegas Nevada, who teaches cello, piano, violin and classical guitar. She began her journey at Del Sol Academy, joining the Magnet program in her third year. Ilinca performed in the Del Sol Chamber Orchestra under director Marla Huizar, and Del Sol Philharmonic under director Paul Lowry. She was in the Del Sol Advanced Guitar Ensemble under director Paul Kleeman. Ilinca graduated with a Seal of Biliteracy in Romanian and a Career Readiness Diploma in 2020.

Ilinca studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is set to graduate in Fall 2024. She has studied under Dr. Andrew Smith in cello methods. Ilinca has performed with the UNLV Symphony Orchestra and UNLV Chamber Orchestra under director Taras Krysa. She also has experiences with smaller ensembles, quartets, trios and solo work.

Ilinca's philosophy for her students is to nurture their talents and potential. She believes all students have potential and every student needs their own personalized approach to music. She is willing to be flexible and offer students whatever they need to meet their goals. She is patient and willing to adapt to each student's needs to help them excel at their craft.
