Zoe Chen

Zoe is a fourth-year undergraduate pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Performance at Arizona State University under the instruction of Professor Danwen Jiang. She has been playing the violin for 11 years and is an active orchestral and chamber musician alongside her violin, piano and viola teaching.

In addition to her experience playing with the ASU Symphony Orchestra, Zoe has been a member of Symphony of the Southwest since 2025. She also recently participated in the 2026 Oracle Chamber Music Festival, where her group won the competition sponsored by the National Society of Arts and Letters Arizona Chapter. In the past, Zoe has performed throughout the United States and internationally as part of the Round Top Festival Institute, the Music and More Summerfest Camerata, and the YOLA National Festival Symphony Orchestra.

Zoe began teaching in 2020, and she continues to strive to make every lesson a positive and engaging environment where learning music feels joyful and fulfilling for students. She has experience teaching a wide range of ages and levels, and she will collaborate with students to ensure every lesson is uniquely tailored to help students reach their musical goals.
